Speak Easy Speech Therapy will be offering Speech-Language screenings at your child's school throughout the Fall 2024 semester.
Screenings are encouraged for children of any age to help identify difficulties with Speech/language skills. Early identification of delay can avoid later academic and social difficulties.
If you would like for your child to participate in the screening, please add to cart and check out and you will be prompted to fill out your child's information.
If you'd prefer to pay via cash or check, please request a paper copy and return to your child's school director. Fees are required at time of service. Make checks payable to Speak Easy Speech Therapy.

The following areas will be screened:
Articulation: Ability to correctly produce sounds.
Receptive Language: Ability to comprehend spoken language by following directions, understanding complex sentences, answering questions, and demonstrating understanding of age appropriate vocabulary.
Expressive Language: Ability to use verbal and nonverbal communication to convey meaning and messages to others by communicating wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas.
Social Interaction: Ability to take turns, demonstrate age appropriate social skills, use appropriate eye contact, demonstrate age appropriate play skills, and engage in conversations.
Speech Fluency: Appropriate flow rhythm and speed of speech.
Voice: Age appropriate pitch, volume and quality.
